OSCAR 2015 / Birdman l-a invins pe marele concurent, Boyhood

Birdman, de Alejandro Gonzalez Iñárritu, a primit premiul Oscar pentru cel mai bun film, la cea de-a 87-a gala de decernare a premiilor Oscar.
Filmul a avut noua nominalizari si a mai fost premiat pentru cea mai buna imagine, cel mai bun scenariu original si cea mai buna regie.

Lungmetrajul Birdman l-a invins pe marele concurent, Boyhood, la categoriile cel mai bun film, cel mai bun regizor, cel mai bun scenariu original si cea mai buna imagine.
Filmul regizat de Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu prezinta portretul unui fost star al filmelor cu super-eroi, interpretat de Michael Keaton, care incearca sa revina in actualitate si sa aiba din nou succes cu ajutorul unei piese pe Broadway.

Actorul britanic Eddie Redmayne, in varsta de 33 de ani, a oţinut Oscarul la categoria 'Cel mai bun acord in rol principal', dupa ce anterior a fost recompensat cu un premiu BAFTA şi un Glob de Aur la aceeaşi categorie, pentru interpretarea astrofizicianului Stephen Hawking, care sufera de scleroza laterala amiotrofica, la care s-a adaugat şi premiul Sindicatului Actorilor Americani (SAG), care rasplateşte in fiecare an cei mai buni actori de cinema şi televiziune.    

Julianne Moore a castigat Oscarul la categoria cea mai buna actrita in rol principal pentru portretizarea unei femei care sufera de maladia Alzheimer in filmul Still Alice - acesta fiind primul ei premiu Oscar dintr-o cariera cu cinci nominalizari.

Patricia Arquette, din Boyhood, si J.K. Simmons, din Whiplash, au castigat Oscarurile la categoriile secundare de interpretare, pentru rolul unei mame singure, respectiv cel al unui profesor de jazz extrem de exigent.

The Grand Budapest Hotel s-a impus in cateva categorii tehnice majore, obtinand patru Oscar pentru costume, regie artistica, coloana sonora si machiaj si coafura.

Whiplash a ocupat locul al doilea in topul productiilor cu cele mai multe trofee Oscar castigate, impunandu-se la cel mai bun mixaj de sunet, cel mai bun montaj si cel mai bun actor in rol secundar (J.K. Simmons).
